In a festive ceremony on November 29, 2005 the King of Thailand, Bhumibol Adulyadej, handed over a coat of arms to Schattdecor AG as an expression of gratitude for its support of victims of the Tsunami. Florian Hauswirth, Schattdecor Sales Manager for South East Asia accepted the royal coat of arms on the company’s behalf.
On the recommendation of a Thai customer, in the summer of 2005 the decorative printing company from Thansau donated 10,000 euros to the “Rajaprajanuhgroh Foundation” of which the Thai monarch is the patron to support orphans who have lost their parents due to natural catastrophes. The money has been used to support the building of a school in Kao Lak.
