About 90 representatives from members of the Association of European Producers of Laminate Flooring came together from Wednesday, 23 May to Friday, 25 May 2007 at Schattdecor's headquarters in Thansau for their annual conference.
The extensive programme of working group meetings and presentations, etc. in the Wendelstein Room was followed by a guided tour of the decor paper printing company's new Customer Centre and ascent of the "real" Wendelstein (1800 m), a mountain close to Thansau that is one of the highest elevations in the district.
At the invitation of Schattdecor's new president, Reiner Schulz, a festive dinner was also held for the guests in the company's newly-opened foyer, where an art exhibition with the title "Laminate Flooring Meets Art" was being staged to mark the occasion.
