The Russian subsidiaries of Schattdecor AG of Germany took part in the Mebel furniture, fittings and upholstery show in Moscow from 12 to 16 November 2007.  
The concept of their booth was based on four trend themes titled Star, Community, Cosmopolitan and Gourmet, and included the presentation of 20 decors displayed in large formats. New decor developments such as Virginia Walnut, Salisbury Oak and Outline met with particular interest among the customers, while bestselling items from the past year, such as Valais Plum and Noce Primo, again proved to be highly successful. 

Virginia Walnut
Walnut is currently a major theme in furniture construc-tion and interior decoration, whereby Virginia Walnut meets the demand for lively yet elegant reproductions of the woodgrain.  Based on a typically American and distinguished-looking version of the timber, the decor offers sapwood at regular intervals as well as clearly delineated planking. Virginia Walnut creates a lively and expressive impression despite the elegance of the wood thanks to occasional slip match details.  

Outline
The overall effect of this ornamental Italian-look woodgrain decor gives it an almost abstract look. Thanks to its calm and elegant composition and filigree finelines, the decor is equally interesting whether in the typical hues of woodgrains or in fantasy colours, and is Suitable for both furniture and interiors in general, Outline is sure to foster creativity no matter how it is used.

The Russian Schattdecor subsidiaries OOO schattdecor and OOO Penzadecor presented a united front at the event, thus anticipating their pending fusion into a single company in the coming year.
