Schattdecor's participation at the Index in Dubai, which took place from 1 - 5 November 2007,  proved to be a successful and futureoriented showing for the German decor paper printer, which was taking part in the event for the third time. As became apparent yet again, the market served by the fair is characterised by strongly growing sales potential, and with sales offices in Saudi Arabia, Iran and India, Schattdecor AG is ideally poised to provide perfect customer service in these countries and neighbouring regions. Moreover, the "Made by Schattdecor" quality philosophy is a further advantage for the decor paper printer, since products with the "Made in Germany" mark are held in high esteem in the Middle East. 
The unbeatable decor hits at the Index consisted of Sambesi Zebrano, Kandy Jacaranda, Valais Plum and Regal Mahogany.

Sambesi Zebrano
This African woodgrain with its typical irregular streaks is extremely decorative. The lively play of narrow and broad growth rings is complemented by fine background pores and an attractive play of colour. The sophisticated character of the decor gains from the fine matte/gloss finish, which also has the effect of underscoring the natural look of the wood. Sambesi Zebrano is particularly suited for furniture fronts, for instance in an expansive horizontal look. 

Kandy Jacaranda
Broad and narrow year rings make this tropical woodgrain particularly striking and decorative in look, predestining it for horizontal formats on furniture fronts. The high-gloss finish shows off the beautiful play of colour and the effect of depth to particular advantage. 

Valais Plum
A highly distinctive decor that unites the trends towards fruitwood and heartwood, Valais Plum offers striking planking and unusual details, resulting in a lively over-all effect with pronounced colouration and brilliant hues. Areas of sapwood offering dark, fine lines and attractive colouring are another feature of this lively new decor.

Regal Mahogany
This exotic hardwood decor offers pronounced straight-grained texture with occasional rippling effects, and comes in the typically sombre reddish-brown hues of the rainforest timber on which it is based. The elegant look of Regal Mahogany is ideal for quality upmarket interiors.
