On October 1, 2000, Schattdecor aquired the decor paper printing, impregnating and lacquering division of the Russian wood-processing combine Schatura, incorporating it into the Schattdecor Group as a fully-owned subsidiary named OOO <<Schattdecor>>. The town of Schatura is located about 140 km south-east of Moscow.
