Successful showing for Schattdecor at the 2007 Medex in Tehran

At a booth measuring over 200 square metres in size, Andreas Bruckbauer and Andreas Bachmeier, both sales managers from Schattdecor's headquarters in Thansau, and Franco Lozza, Sales Director at Schattdecor's subsidiary in Rosate, Italy, showcased a large number of new decors at the Medex, Iran's international exhibition of furniture and interior design, from 6 to 9 December 2007.
Twenty of the decors were displayed on large panels, with the exotic hardwoods Sevilla Olive and Kandy Jacaranda meeting with a positive response along with Aberdeen Cherry and Laricio Pinie.

Sevilla Olive
A lively, ribbon-grained wood decor with tightly-laid planking and the striking lines typical of olive, Sevilla Olive comes in a pale, golden-brown look but is also highly persuasive in a warmer brown variation that underscores the beautiful play of colour.  The decor is interesting both in horizontal formats and as an extravagant cabinet front finish for use in kitchen, residential and bedroom applications.   Thanks to its exotic touch, Sevilla Olive is very much in line with current tastes and thus much in demand.

Kandy Jacaranda
Broad and narrow year rings make this tropical woodgrain particularly striking and decorative in look, predestining it for horizontal formats on furniture fronts.  The high-gloss finish shows off the beautiful play of colour and the effect of depth to particular advantage.

Aberdeen Cherry
The decor Aberdeen Cherry is particularly characterised by a harmonious overall look and subtle sapwood inclusions. The flowing texture makes an upmarket impression, while the subtle figuring adds a touch of liveliness. The play of colour is distinctly elegant.

Laricio Pinie
Laricio Pine comes with a pronounced 3D effect thanks to its wire brushed look. The fine straight lines of the closely-grained texture are underscored by striking colouration, while occasional irregularities in the linear graining add a touch of liveliness.  The clarity of the decor suits it admirably to current trends in furniture design.

Schattdecor has been experiencing great success in Iran for some time and will therefore be participating in the Medex – a key event for gaining a stronger foothold on the Iranian market – this year again.
