Personnel Changes on the Supervisory Board
Dr. Karsten Schween succeeds Reiner Schulz as the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Schattdecor SE.
Reiner Schulz, former Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Schattdecor SE, and Bruno Walt, also a member of the Supervisory Board, will leave the company on June 25, 2025, after many years of service. They will be succeeded by Dr. Karsten Schween as the new Chairman and Angelique Renkhoff-Mücke as a member of the Supervisory Board.
On the retirement of Reiner Schulz and Bruno Walt
After more than four decades of dedicated service, Rainer Schulz is retiring from his professional career. He has been Chairman of the Board since 2017, previously serving as CEO since 2007. Having joined the company when it was founded in 1985, he has shared the responsibility for the development and success of Schattdecor for decades - he was particularly instrumental in driving the company’s expansion and globalization, ensuring its worldwide presence.

Bruno Walt, who has been a member of the Supervisory Board since 2013, is also leaving the Board after twelve productive years. With his financial expertise, Bruno has provided valuable insight to guide Schattdecor’s strategic direction.
New members of the Supervisory Board
Dr. Karsten Schween, who has been closely associated with the entrepreneurial family as a consultant for several years, will succeed Reiner Schulz as Chairman of the Supervisory Board. With his many years of experience and his deep understanding of strategy and governance in family-run companies, he will provide expert guidance for the further development of Schattdecor.

Angelique Renkhoff-Mücke is also a new member of the Supervisory Board. She has been with the WAREMA Group since 1998 and has been CEO of WAREMA Renkhoff SE, a European market leader for sun shading and building control systems, since 2001. With her many years of management experience and her deep roots in the family business, she will enrich the board with entrepreneurial foresight and a practical perspective.
The founding family will continue to be represented on the Supervisory Board by Anja Schatt-Steiner as 1st Deputy Chairwoman and Sonja Schatt-Fritsch as 2nd Deputy Chairwoman. "We would also like to thank Reiner Schulz and Bruno Walt for their many years of trusting cooperation. They have always been at our side with help and advice. With Dr. Karsten Schween and Angelique Renkhoff-Mücke, we have gained two strong personalities who share our values and have a clear focus on the challenges of today and tomorrow. We are looking forward to the future," said the two sisters.
