Arkona Oak

The final effect of Arkona Oak reminded the team, because of its strong rusticity and the blue-gray inclusions in the original material, of the rough, open sea. The sea ruled by the Vikings for a long time – brilliant shipbuilders and seafarers. That is why this oak bears the name of the former Viking settlement, Arkona. Its cracks, knots and discolorations make the decor look particularly rustic and rough. It seems as if the real material was exposed to strong weather and has increased in roughness and expressiveness over the years. An extreme color variance and a change between light and dark areas ensures an exciting, varied decor.
