Retirement after 35 years

Kurt Mack, Head of Production and Logistics at Schattdecor, is retiring at the end of the year after 35 years. Since January 2009, Kurt Mack has been the board member responsible for production, logistics, and purchasing.

In the future, the surface production sector will be transferred to the department of CEO Roland Auer, under the direct management of Michael Then. As of January 2021, the logistics sector, like the purchasing sector has been since September 2019, will be the responsibility of Frank Schumacher.

Personal words on the departure of Kurt Mack

Dear customers, partners, suppliers — my dear companions,

After 35 years at Schattdecor, I will retire at the end of 2020.

But before that happens, I would like to thank you and say goodbye to you — albeit unfortunately this cannot be done personally due to the current situation.

Thank you for 35 unforgettable years! Years filled with beautiful memories, funny moments, exciting projects, demanding challenges and the certainty of a strong team at the back — side by side, worldwide.

You have accompanied me and shaped this path in your role. I want to thank you for your trust, your support, lively discussions, but also fair interactions. It fills me with pride and joy to have been part of this network and to remain in a certain way connected.

Be brave, stay optimistic, stay connected.

It is also essential, especially in these challenging times, that one becomes more aware of the important things: a strong team of colleagues, partners and friends, otherwise your companions!
