Sonoma Oak was developed due to a highly topical surface trend: rustic 3-D-structures and especially rough sawn woodgrain is much in demand. The decor was planned with a restrained planking and a concerted, interesting colourplay. Very typical are the negative pores, the wood details such as oak sabmarks and the transverse-to-the-grain saw cut in particular. The structure of this decor runs in a horizontal direction.
